Describe your rig or instrument of choice: Colibri SC-CN Quetzalcoatl’ bass with a set of Nordstrand’s Big Singles 5, 5 strings set of Magma Strings and some Logic Pro X plug ins
How did you discover Nordstrand?
I am sponsored since 2019 by the best bass and guitar’s handcrafters from Mexico: 'Colibri Guitars & Basses Mexico', through them I discovered the amazing Nordstrand’s pickups, i’ve been using different models from Nordstrand by testing some of the Colibri’s guitars and basses and since a little time ago, i acquired my own ‘Colibri SC-CN Quetzalcoatl’ Bass with the Nordstrand’s Big Singles 5
I have used these pickups on a couple of different basses. They are the most versatile pickups I have ever played, with a round, warm and bright sound, especially in slapping situations. Every model of Nordstrand pickups are tremendously versatile with a really clear and round sound for any bass or guitar.
