String Spacing

Is calculating your string spacing a mystery? Why don't we know what your string spacing is by make and model? Let us help unravel the conundrum of string spacing.

Because there is rarely consistency in measurements from bass model to bass model, it's best if you actually measure your spacing with a ruler. You absolutely positively need a ruler, preferably with metric measurements. Measure from the center of the first string to the center of the last string and divide by the number of spaces in between.  Review the video and the photo below for further clarification.
