We switched out the stock Ibanez pickups in Jeff Potts’ guitar with some Nordstrand NVH Pickups. So what’s the difference? Check it out!
About the tone of Jeff Potts’ NVH
This is a hot-rodded version of a traditional humbucker with an Alnico V bar magnet. It is slightly overwound for a nice thick midrange, yet it still retains plenty of clarity and balance. Each pickup is calibrated for it’s position, with the bridge version being considerably hotter.
