After high school, Pennal became the full-time bassist for Jessy Dixon and his choir where he learned showmanship and how to be a professional musician. This led to the opportunity to perform with the talents of Andre and Sandra Crouch, Kurt Carr and Abraham Laboriel. Currently Pennal is the bassist for Clubbin TV.

PJ plays Fat Stacks in his Wyn bass.
