How did you discover Nordstrand?

What Nordstrand products do you use?
My NP4A + NJ4SE are the rock, the foundation of my tone. Without any EQ I'm able to dig in for some really fat picked tones but with a little high roll off they become smooth and more rounded feeling with fingers. The P/J pickup style combination has always felt balanced for me tonally and the NP4A and the NJ4SE are just a perfect match.
How long have you been using Nordstrand?
My first bass was far too cheap to have Nordstrand's. That came around my third bass, I think! Some years later! I was in high school so probably 10-13ish years ago I had my first Nordstrand's in a bass that I sold and regretted for a LONG time. It took years before I came back around and rediscovered that the "secret sauce" of my tone that was missing was the pickups!
