Rod “StuckOnBass” Stuckey is a native of Bishopville, SC. His entire childhood was centered around music. Stuckey started playing guitar around the age of 3 years old and has turned that into his career.
Rod has had the opportunity to serve as Musical Director on multiple tours, national and international.
Currently, Rod is the Musical Director/Bassist at New Light Christian Center located in Houston Texas where the founding pastors are Apostle I.V. And Lady Bridgette Hilliard.
Stuckey is also one of the Musical Directors for Grammy Award Winner Melvin Williams of the Williams Brothers and is currently the bassist for Grammy Award Winner Brian Courtney Wilson. He’s worked with several other Award winning recording Artists such as Todd Dulaney, Preshea Hilliard, Gene Moore, Paul Porter, Todd Galberth, Casey J, Kelontae Gavin, Kathy Taylor, JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, Ernest Pugh, Darryl Izzard, John Lakin, Derrick Bull, Regina Skeeters, Kenny Smith, Sara V ,and the List goes on.
Stuckey is also a studio session bassist for Gospel Multi tracks, Loop Community and he’s consistently adding his bass expertise to help bring artists vision to life.
Even though Rod is involved heavily in music, he still finds time for his Lovely Wife, Sara V and their 4 children,(Ashton, Jayla, Austin, and Karson) and expecting the arrival of their 5th child (Nalani) in January 2021.
