Amos Heller grew up in Virginia playing classical bass in the Charlottesville city school orchestra program before discovering Thrash Metal, Funk, and everything beyond. He moved to Nashville in 2005, and since then has found success as a working bassist.
Since 2007, Amos has been working with Taylor Swift, both as part of her million-selling world tours and recording on her platinum albums. He has risen to the challenge of filling an increasingly demanding role as Taylor’s music has branched out to cover challenging areas of the pop landscape. Amos has also been fortunate to play with the expansive roster of guest artists Taylor invites to be a part of her tours, including Mick Jagger, Beck, Alanis Morissette, Mary J. Blige, James Taylor, Nelly and Ricky Martin, just to name a few.
Amos Heller has also recorded or performed with a diverse roster of artists that includes Phill Keaggy, Emerson Hart (Tonic), Thomas Rhett, Josh Gracin, Rhett Akins, Dustin Lynch, Alyssa Bonagura, James Otto, A Thousand Horses, and Victor Wooten.
