Describe your rig or instrument of choice. A jazz or P bass with Nordstrand pickups. A StarLifter D.I. Ultimate Ears IEMs or Genzler Rig
How did you discover Nordstrand? I discovered the pickups through a friend. I bought a bass that needed work and took it to the Redlands shop back in 2009 and have been going to them ever since. I have been using Power Blade pickups for my fretless, Jazz NJ5FS Pickups for my 5 string Jazz, Fat Stack 5-string Soapbar Pickups, the Starlifter D.I.and Boris Fuzzpedals. Custom Nordy Cables, and of course my basses: an NP5 Bass, an NJ5 Bass, and the Acinonyx "Cat" Bass.
I love how much they care about the sound from the pickups, set up, basses, cables, amps ect.. Carey and the team are always pushing themselves for the bass community with innovation and care.
