Ross Andrew is the bassist for the band Sanguine, a four-piece female fronted alternative metal/rock band formed in Exeter, UK. They have released one EP/single/DVD "Live Consume Drive" (2008), one self-titled album "Sanguine" (2012) and one professional studio album "Black Sheep" (2016). Second full length album due for release 2019. They have played and toured with Megadeth, Fear Factory, HellYeah, Skindred, Zebrahead, Mushroomhead to name a few.
Describe your rig or instrument of choice: Orange ad200mk3, SansAmp, Darkglass Alpha Omega, EBS multi comp, Boss TU3 tuner. Fender America Deluxe jazz bass, Music Man Stingray, Manson JPJ. I love a punchy low mid bass tone. The trick with my rig is to plug into the passive input on the amp to get killer tone. Growl is super important and something Nordstrand are winning at!
How did you discover Nordstrand? Tim Stark. Legendary guitar maker at Manson Guitar Works. He lent me his bass for a "Hell Yeah" tour last year and it came equipped with a Big Single and I was blown away!
